The Term Web3 : 

The term "Web3" was coined in 2014 by Ethereum co-founder Gavin Wood, and the idea gained interest in 2021 from cryptocurrency enthusiasts, large technology companies, and venture capital firms.



The Adoption of Web3 technologies and applications is growing, particularly in the areas of decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). In fact, new blockchain-based platforms and protocols are emerging to provide infrastructure and services for Web3.

The Web3 Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the development of decentralized technologies and applications, is actively funding and supporting various Web3 projects.

Major companies like Facebook and Google are exploring the potential of Web3 and investing in blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies. The potential of Web3 to address issues such as online privacy, digital identity, and censorship is also gaining increasing attention and interest.

The Web3 space is rapidly evolving, and there is much to watch for in terms of new technologies, applications, and developments.
